What do I do with my cats while I’m on a 5 day vacation?
I have 5 cats (2 are kittens). 2 of the grown cats go outside during the day and come in at night to sleep. The kittens and 1 cat stay in always. We will be gone for 5 days. Is it ok to have someone come and clean the litter box 3 times that week ( I have auto feeder and waterer) or do I need to board them? I want to keep them all inside for that week. I’ve never left them alone for more than overnight a couple of times so I’m worried about them. I can’t afford to board all 5 and I think they would get mad at me if I did. Suggestions?
I meant litter boxes…I have 4.
make sure if you do have some one in to check on them make sure it is some one you can trust to actually do it. i left my cat once for 5 days and i asked my brother to check on him and he had his wife do it. my cat would hide every time she came over and didn’t want to come out when we came home, he was kinda of mad at us for a lil’ while. so I’m sorry but i think they might be mad no matter what you do, but u know cats they forgive you easy.
if you lived near i would watch them for you.
